Quick update on us--Marc is flying to Wisconsin this week to interview at Marquette for dental school. Wish him luck! He has an interview at University of Utah on November 6th, and at Baylor November 13th. We're so excited! He is liking all of his classes right now and is the Elder's Quorum president in our ward. He just got a job for next semester too! He will be the DAT prep instructor and will teach twice a week.
I'm in the stake primary presidency and the ward organist.I still like my job, but I'm tired of going to work. The holidays should help it go better though. This month is all about Halloween and the kids are loving it.

| The weekend before our first anniversary I planned a surprise trip for Marc down to Alpine. We took pictures by our temple (WITHOUT the scaffolding! :) ) and went to dinner and a dance lesson. I think he liked the dinner better than the dancing. :) |

| We went to Ohio for my friend Abigail's wedding. The picture underneath with all the hands is in her parents' basement. Anyone who comes to their house has to put their hand print with their name and date. All the walls are covered and it looks so cool! |

 Good news...we got a free couch! Bad news...it was in their garage for a year. So we washed it down outside with soapy water, then sprayed it with lysol, then vacuumed it like crazy. It's not too bad now! Except since the leather got wet it stinks really bad. Any ideas for getting rid of that smell? :) We got a couch cover that is way too big, but oh well. :) |
